General inspectorate of emergency situations reinstalls antiheat tents in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 July /MOLDPRES/ – The General Inspectorate of Emergency Situations (IGSU) has reinstalled in some regions of Moldova rehabilitation points during the heat wave. The antiheat tents are to work daily at 11:00 – 18:00. At these, people can drink water and protect themselves from the high temperatures.
The rehabilitation points have been set in 04 sectors of Chisinau municipality. More specifically, the tents are to operate in sector Centru, near Central Market, sector Rascani, at intersection of street Kiev and boulevard Moscovei, sector Ciocana, on street Ginta Latina №11 and sector Buiucani, on street Calea Iesilor №03.
Also, the rehabilitation points are active in cities Balti, Causeni, Ungheni, Rezina, Cahul, Hancesti and Gagauzia.
The rehabilitation points operate in adverse weather conditions, when air temperature exceeds +32°C. At each rehabilitation point are the IGSU rescuers to provide the necessary assistance to persons in difficulty.
The meteorologists have issued a yellow code of heatwave that is in effect till today. According to data of the State Hydrometeorological Service's (SHS) information and media communication service, in the extended areas the maximum air temperature will reach up to +34°C.
