Supreme Security Council holds meeting today

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/- The contract on concession of Chisinau International Airport and the transaction announced in public on the sale of Avia Invest company were discussed today at the Supreme Security Council. President Igor Dodon made the statement at the end of the CSS meeting.

According to Dodon, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure were heard during this meeting.

He noted that from the beginning, the concession contract of Chisinau International Airport has damaged the state, and the authorities intend to find ways to terminate it. He said that according to the information from the specialized structures, the owners of Avia Invest have not changed, and the authorities have blocked the possibility to sell shares of this company.

The Supreme Security Council includes Speaker Zinaida Grecianîi, Prime Minister Maia Sandu, Interior Minister Andrei Năstase, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vasilii Şova, Defense Minister Pavel Voicu, Minister of Justice Olesea Stamati, acting prosecutor Dumitru Robu, Governor of the National Bank of Moldova Octavian Armaşu and bashkan of Gagauzia Irina Vlah.
