Moldova celebrates 28 years of independence

Chisinau, 27 August /MOLDPRES/- On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi, together with President Igor Dodon, MPs, diplomats, public authorities laid flowers today at the Monument of Stefan cel Mare, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The agenda of events started in the morning with laying flowers at memorial complex Maica indurerata.
Today, the Republic of Moldova celebrates 28 years of independence. The Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Moldova was adopted by the Parliament on August 27, 1991.
