Moldovan speaker meets ambassador of Kazakhstan

Chisinau, 27 August /MOLDPRES/- Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi today met with Samat Ordabaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Moldova, based in Kiev, parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported. 

The parties discussed the fourth meeting of Eurasian parliament speakers, due in Kazakhstan on 23-24 September. The speaker of the Republic of Moldova confirmed the delegation's participation in the meeting. The purpose of the forum, which will be attended by delegates from about 65 countries, is the development of multidimensional cooperation between the parliaments of Europe and Asia, as well as the extension of the interparliamentary and bilateral dialogue between the countries of the Eurasian area.

"The Republic of Moldova must emerge from the isolation in which it has been in recent years. We have promoted and we will promote a balanced and pragmatic foreign policy, ” Greceanîi said.

The ambassador of Kazakhstan congratulated the Moldovan people on Independence Day and mentioned the need to maintain and develop traditional friendly relations between our countries.
