Trolleybuses in Chisinau checked by police, ANTA

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/- On 19-28 August, employees of the road traffic surveillance department within the Police Directorate of the capital, jointly with the National Road Transport Agency / ANTA /, checked the trolleybuses in the urban parks. As a result, violations were detected in more than 200 trolleybuses, five transport units were stopped and their operation was forbidden.

According to the police, the purpose of the checks was to make drivers and administrators responsible for complying with the rules of technical operation of the transport units.

Thus, 210 trolleybuses were subject to verification, violations of the legislation admitted by the drivers have been detected, such as technical defects in the lighting devices of the headlamps and turn-signaling and used tires. After checks, six reports were drawn up with fines amounting to 300 lei.

In the last month, police officers went down with checks in several places, including the North Bus Station and several minibus companies.
