Parliament involved in justice reform process - Moldovan speaker says

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/- Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi, together with President Igor Dodon, Prime Minister Maia Sandu and Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Năstase attended a conference on justice reform held by Minister of Justice Olesea Stamate, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
“It is very important the parliament is involved in the justice reform process. It is an ambitious concept, but very necessary for the justice system, because here comes the safety not only of citizens, but also of the business environment, foreign investments ”, Greceanîi said.
According to the speaker, the legal commission on rules and immunities will hold public debates on the concept with the participation of civil society.
"Political governments are changing, but whatever they should improve the justice system, but not take it from the beginning," the speaker said.
