Deputy PM for reintegration meets head of OSCE Mission to Moldova

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/ – On Wednesday, 28 August, Deputy PM, Vasilii Sova, has held a working meeting with the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Claus Neukirch, during which it has been discussed the existing situation in the Transnistrian settlement process, including situation in Security Zone (ZS), with a distinct accent onto recent events which took place in village Pohrebea, Dubasari district, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
It was held an exchange of views regarding the intention of representatives of the OSCE Mission to participate in the ceremony dedicated to the first bell in the educational institutions with Latin – script writing teaching in Transnistrian region, and it was welcomed and encouraged, with the launch of invitation to involve exponents of other international partners for such visits.
Also, it was highlighted upon the need to intensify the activity of sectoral working groups, especially on the platform of experts in the field of telecommunications, car and rail transport, human rights and with a priority approach to the subject of free movement.
Repeatedly, it was underlined the opportunity for setting of working groups to promote confidence – building measures in military sphere, in addition to the existing expert formats.
Last but not least, it was noted the need to maintain a continuous dialogue, as well as to activate it so as to prepare the necessary ground for organising the next round of negotiation format 5+2.
