Electoral block registered by central electoral commission of Moldova

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/ – The electoral block ACUM Platform DA and PAS and the electoral symbol for the local elections of 20 October have been registered by the Central Election Commission /CEC/, on Wednesday, 28 August.

The number of 08 out of 09 members of the CEC voted to register the electoral block ACUM Platform DA and PAS.

Also today, on agenda of the meeting of CEC, it has been included the modification of the decision of CEC №2570 of 16 August 2019 – Regarding the constitution of Electoral Council (CE) of the uninominal electoral constituency №33 Chisinau and establishing the number of trusted persons of electoral competitors at the new Parliamentary elections on 20 October 2019.

At the end of recent week, the National Political Council (CPN) of PAS decided to form the Electoral Block ACUM for the elections on 20 October 2019.

The general local elections (ALG) will be held on 20 October 2019. There will be elected 898 mayors and 11,580 local councilors at them. On similar day, it will be held 04 parliamentary elections in 04 constituencies.
