U.S. dollar depreciates, euro appreciates against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/ – U.S. dollar (USD) depreciates, while European single currency (EUR) appreciates against Moldovan leu (MDL), on Thursday, 29 August, according to the official exchange rates displayed by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, the value of USD is MDL 17.90 for $1, by MDL 0.03 less than today. On the other hand, the cost of EUR appreciates by MDL 0.04 up to the official price of MDL 19.86 for €1.

Also, the cost of Romanian leu (RON) adds MDL 0.01, up to the level of MDL 04.20 for L1. Instead, the value of Russian rouble (RUB) cheapens with MDL 0.01 down to the quotation of MDL 0.26 for ₽1.

As for the cost of Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), the official course is similar to the one of today: MDL 0.71 for ₴1.
