Euro, U.S. dollar continue depreciation against Moldovan leu in early September

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ – In early September, the value of European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD) continue to depreciate against Moldovan leu (MDL). For Monday, 02 September, the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) has set an official exchange rate of MDL 17.77 for $1 and MDL 19.62 for €1.

Thus, the cost of EUR cheapens by MDL 0.12, and USD – by MDL 0.06.

Also, the rate of Romanian leu (RON) depreciates by MDL 0.02 down to MDL 04.15 for L1.

As for the costs of Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB), BNM has set quotations similar to the ones of today. Specifically, UAH – MDL 0.70 for ₴1 and RUB – MDL 0.26 for ₽1.
