Rent price for media outlets within Press House to be reduced

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/- The media outlets in the country will be able to rent space at lower prices within the Press House and other buildings managed by the government. An order to this effect was signed on September 9 by Secretary General of the Government Andrei Spînu.

The decision was made after several reports were received from the press, referring to exaggerated prices for renting spaces.

Andrei Spînu said that so far the media sources were renting spaces according to the maximum market coefficient, worth 1.5. Thus, the document provides for reducing the market coefficient from 1.5 at present to 1.0 for issuing lease agreements between the media sources and the General Department for managing buildings of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

At the same time, the employees of the department are expected that within 30 days of issuing the order to modify the previously concluded contracts.
