French Secretary of State for European Affairs to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/ - Secretary of State for European Affairs of France Amélie de Montchalin will pay a visit to Moldova on 12-13 September, following the dialogue initiated by Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu at discussions held in Paris on 13 June 2019, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.

In the context of re-launching the dialogue with Moldova’s European partners, the visit by secretary of state Amélie de Montchalin represents a special occasion to foster the Moldovan-French relations and strengthen the bilateral and European cooperation on the political, commercial, economic, cultural dimensions, as well as the one of the Francophonie.

The visit’s agenda will include consultations with Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu, meetings with President Igor Dodon, Prime Minister Maia Sandu, as well as the deputy parliament speakers.
