As many as 48 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,930 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 48 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 255,848 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), one of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees (one physician).

As many as 184 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 47 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 664 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,702 are under supervision at home.

Another 79 people have been treated. As many as 248,812 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,156 people have died of coronavirus in all.
