Moldovan diplomacy head to pay working visit to Kiev

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu will pay a working visit to Kiev on 21-22 October, at an invitation by his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
In the discussions with Ukrainian officials, the Moldovan diplomacy head will tackle the principal aspects of the bilateral cooperation, including the speeding up of the implementation of infrastructure projects, European agenda, cooperation in the energy sector, environment, boosting the commercial and economic changes and the Transnistrian conflict settlement.
The visit’s agenda includes meeting with Foreign Affairs Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, Deputy Minister on European Integration at the Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Ihor Yaremenko, director of Naftogaz, deputy president of the joint commission for commercial and economic cooperation Yuriy Vitrenko and Moldova’s representatives at the OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine.
On 22 October, Nicu Popescu and Dmytro Kuleba will hold a joint news conference at the headquarters of Ukraine’s Foreign Affairs Ministry at 11:15.
