Moldova, Ukraine boost tourism relations

Chisinau, 21 October /MOLDPRES/- Invest Moldova agency and National Association for Inbound Tourism (ANTRIM), with the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Moldova organized an information tour this month for tour operators, airlines and media representatives from Ukraine.

According to USAID, the information tour will allow to use the opportunities for development and promotion of the Republic of Moldova among tour operators in Ukraine.

"It aims to expand economic relations between the two countries, strengthen joint efforts to establish new partnerships, develop cross-border tourism routes and relaunch the tourism industry in the context of the current pandemic," the source said.

This informational tour completes the series of mutual promotion activities, which ANTRIM initiated together with the Hospitality Industry Association of Ukraine.

Ukraine is in the top five countries - a source of tourists for the Republic of Moldova. USAID experts claim "the partnership relations in the field of tourism between Moldova and Ukraine are becoming stronger".
