Metalferos company has new interim administrator

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/ - Andrei Ivancov was appointed acting director of the joint-stock company Metalferos, after the former management was released based on the resignation request. The new administrator of the company was introduced to the team by head of the Public Property Agency (APP) Eugeniu Cozonac.

The APP director said the change was absolutely necessary. "I am confident that the new interim director, who is a true professional, will come up with good ideas, with an ambitious development plan that will increase the productivity and prestige of the company. The challenges are major in the field of metals market, but when there is will and skill, the company develops, and the country has only one thing to gain ", Cozonac said.

The new interim director says he is prepared and willing to focus his knowledge and experience on developing and rehabilitating the company's name. "I will be open to communicate with each of the employees. I want to change the image and perception that people have about this enterprise through the work we will do together. Our primary task, given the legislation in force, which involves the liberalization of the metals market, will be to establish a new trade chain", Andrei Ivancov said.

Andrei Ivancov previously worked as deputy head of the National Anticorruption Center, after which he held the position of head of department within APP. He headed the RED-Nord Joint Stock Company and the State Enterprise Nodul Hidroenergetic Costești.

Metalferos was founded almost 70 years ago, and currently has three sections of activity. It is an enterprise of collection, storage, processing, sorting, marketing and export of ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap and waste. It has branches in six districts of the country and has a total of about 200 employees.
