Moldovan president thanked Austrian partners for willingness to promote European integration of country

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan President Maia Sandu continued her official visit to Vienna with a lot of important meetings. During talks with Austrian Deputy Prime Minister Werner Kogler, she addressed the possibility of expanding economic relations between the Republic of Moldova and Austria.

According to the presidential press service, the priorities on our agenda with the EU were discussed at a meeting with Michael Linhart, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs. Maia Sandu thanked Michael Linhart for Austrian partners' willingness to promote the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.

The visit to Vienna continued with a meeting with members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Moldova. The head of state thanked the Austrian parliamentarians for their constant support in implementing programs and projects in priority areas for our country, such as developing technical vocational education, creating jobs for young people or increasing the competitiveness of the economy by supporting digital transformation.
