Moldovan business managers to get German training

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Economy of Moldova and the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany have signed a Declaration of Intent on cooperation in training business managers of our country.
The document aims at training a new generation of managers, who could make a significant contribution to modernizing the national economy, as well as boosting Moldovan-German relations, by promoting foreign trade, attracting foreign investment in Moldova and creating new jobs.
The joint declaration of intent entered into force on the date of signature and will be applied until the end of 2023.
According to the document, part of the expenses will be covered from the state budget - for professional and linguistic training of Moldovan business managers, and the costs of international travel for program participants will be paid by the respective enterprises. When certain actions in the program are carried out in Germany, the expenditure will be covered by the Ministry of Economy and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The bilateral training program for business managers in the Republic of Moldova was officially initiated on November 19, 2008. Since 2009, when the Program started, until now, 355 managers have benefited from it. The program is currently carried out in 19 countries, including: the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, China, Vietnam, India, Mongolia, Egypt.
