UTM students visited construction sites on national roads

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- Students of the Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture, specialty Railways, Roads, Bridges of the Technical University of Moldova visited the construction sites on the national roads within the projects managed by the State Road Administration (ASD).

The techniques and execution processes of the new capital constructions, as well as those in rehabilitation or reconstruction, as well as the activity of the site engineers were analyzed by the students jointly with the ASD management. "The future engineers got acquainted with the works that are currently being carried out on national roads. Motivating young people is a priority for the State Road Administration and we want them to be closer to the field they are studying ", ASD acting head Sergiu Bejan said.

During the activity, the works on the roads M1 Border with Romania - Leuseni - Chisinau - Dubasari - border with Ukraine were investigated; R1 Chisinau - Ungheni - border with Romania; M5 Border with Ukraine - Criva - Bălți - Chisinau - Tiraspol - border with Ukraine and Corridor 8.3 that crosses the localities of Hârbovăț, Sverida and Onișcani in Călărași district.
