Moldovan government proposed to parliament to declare state of emergency

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet at today's meeting proposed to parliament to declare a state of emergency in Moldova for a period of 30 days, as a result of the crisis in the country's energy sector.
According to the decision, the government will present the draft decision on declaring a state of emergency for consideration to parliament.
The cabinet members approved the decision after taking note of the Report of the Commission for Emergencies on the need to declare a state of emergency, as a result of the crisis in the country's energy sector.
The decision will enter into force upon publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
