About 17,000 patients called for ambulance last week

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/- On 18 -24 October, emergency medical teams provided first aid to 16,903 people.

According to the data of the National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance, the citizens with respiratory emergencies most often requested an ambulance - 5,306 patients.

During this period, the emergency medical teams provided first aid to 2696 people with cardiovascular emergencies, including 57 patients with acute coronary syndrome. Neurological emergencies accounted for 1837 cases, of which 240 strokes.

Following the 54 road accidents produced on the routes in the country, 68 people needed ambulance doctors. Subsequently, 55 patients were transported to the hospital.
