Symposium held in Ungheni on cultural impact of winemaking

Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/- Vine and wine: agricultural, social and spiritual practices was the motto of a national scientific-practical symposium, recently organized in Ungheni. The event was part of a program to commemorate Hungarian folklorist Efim Junghietu.
The symposium was organized under the project Evolution of Romanian literature, folklore and literary theory in European and universal context to strengthen the methodology of ethnological research of the local ethnocultural environment in order to record, use and promote agricultural, social and spiritual practices on vine and wine.
The aim of the project is to collect, preserve and capitalize on the ethnofolkloric traditions and customs inherent in agricultural, social and spiritual practices regarding vines and wine; research in various aspects of agricultural, social and spiritual practices, etc.
"Congratulations to the participants for their involvement and substantial communications, which were not only interesting, but also developed according to scientific rigor. It is invaluable to contribute to the research and promotion of the intangible cultural heritage of the localities where the soul and heart are fed ", said Tatiana Lazar, vice president of Ungheni district.
