Preparations for considering Moldova's resolution at UN General Assembly in focus of Moldovan PM

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - The process of preparation for considering the draft resolution titled, Complete and Unconditional Withdrawal of Foreign Military Forces from the Territory of the Republic of Moldova, at the United Nations General Assembly was analyzed at a today’s meeting summoned by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The representative of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry has informed about actions undertaken in the contest of examining Moldova’s draft resolution at the item 35 of the agenda of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, Protracted conflicts in the GUAM area (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) and their implications for international peace, security and development. This initiative was formulated by PM Pavel Filip in a speech given at the rostrum of the UN General Assembly on 22 September 2017.
The discussions and the vote on this draft resolution will take place in New York on 22 June. Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi has been delegated to present the draft resolution in the plenum of the United Nations General Assembly.
