Moldovan Democrats set package of social initiatives forming basis of possible ruling coalition

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today presented a package of social initiatives that Democrats are ready to discuss with interested parties and will be the basis of a possible ruling coalition.
It is important the political blurring created after the parliamentary elections should come to an end as soon as possible, and all parties in parliament to show maturity and responsibility to citizens.
Filip said “Social package for Moldova” provides for increase in childbirth allowance from 6,303 lei to 10,000 lei, the monthly payments of 200 lei for minors, providing twice a year of 600 lei aid for low-income pensioners and doubling heat compensation.
The Social package for Moldova will also include the First Home 4 programme for private sector employees, to which the state will provide compensation up to 50% of the value of the First Home loan. The amount of the compensation will be determined by official wage declared by the beneficiary. The social package also includes programs for the construction of the sewerage, water supply and waste management system.
The official said that his party will boost efforts to find a coalition partner.
