Delegation of Federal Assembly of Russia visits Moldova

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/ – Speaker of Parliament, Zinaida Greceanii, has met, on Saturday, 24 August, with deputy head of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, Galina Karelova, and a member of the Social Policy Committee of the Council of the Federation of Russia, a member of the Russian – Moldova interparliamentary commission, Victor Abramov.

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the officials of Russia are in Chisinau to participate in the events organised on occasion of 75 years since liberation of Moldova from Fascism.

The parties have discussed opportunities to foster interparliamentary relations and promote projects, including at regional level, for the benefit of inhabitants of Russia and Moldova.

The meeting was attended by deputy SP, Ion Ceban, and head of friendship group with the Federal Council of Russia, Tatiana Cunetchi.
