Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/- Government decision on approval of quality requirements for milk and dairy products will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 29 March and will enter into force over six months.

Under the document, the presence of additional fats in milk and dairy products will be prohibited.

The new rules also provide that the names of dairy products obtained by reconstitution or recombination should also include the words: reconstituted or recombined, clearly written on the packaging.

At the same time, producers will have to ensure that the milk comes from animals that do not show any signs of infectious disease transmissible to humans through milk listed by the World Organization for Animal Health.
